Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Broward Health North. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound exams on patients, including vascular imaging studies, OB/GYN exams, and portable exams.
  • Operate and maintain various ultrasound equipment, including GE and PACS systems.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications in various medical specialties.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • Must be RDSM ABD and RVT certified.
  • EPIC experience required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working 5x8hr shifts, Monday through Friday, 14:30p-23:00p, with on-call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology.
