Obstetrician Gynecologist Physician

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Los Angeles General Medical Center is seeking a clinical faculty member in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical services, participate in trainee education, contribute to clinical research, and improve the delivery of care.
Position Requirements
- Must have an MD, DO, or equivalent degree.
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Gynecologic Oncology.
- Must operate in a high acuity level.
- Must have an integrated approach to diagnosis and surgical management of cancerous and noncancerous conditions of the female reproductive system.
- Must focus on treating cancers of the pelvis and female reproductive systems, including ovarian, cervical, endometrial, vulvar, and vaginal cancers.
- Must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
- Must have completed a fellowship.
- Must desire to practice at the nation's largest teaching hospitals at a single site, conveniently located on a medical campus adjacent to downtown Los Angeles.
- Must desire a rich clinical experience derived from the tremendous variety in pathology.
- Must have a passion for providing high-quality clinical patient care to an underserved population.
- Must have a passion to teach and work with fellows, residents, and medical students.
- Must have an interest in participating in scholarly activities.
- Must have opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary conferences, quality initiatives, and hospital committees.
Position Benefits
- Average of 70+ patients in the Gyn/Onc clinic.
