Cath Lab RN Travel Assignment

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a travel assignment at St Josephs Hospital and Medical Center in Arizona.

Job Details
  • 2 years of experience in Cath Lab required
  • Active ACLS, BLS, and AZ license or compact required
  • 12 hour shifts, 6 am-6:30 pm, plus call
  • Call - varied 6 to 10 shifts per schedule, 30 minute response time required
Unit Specific Information
  • Unit: Cath Lab
  • # beds: 3 main and 1 is EP & 1 is Hybrid (does both vascular & cardiac cases)
  • Certs: BLS, ACLS. AZ license required for Techs
  • Cases: 10-25 cases per day. Circulating, no Scrub
  • EMR: Cerner and Xper
  • Charge Nurse: Yes
  • Nurse Aides: Rad techs - Circulating and Scrub, BLS, Certified. Cover Endo and CVOR.
  • Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule
  • Holidays: Work into rotation
  • Scrub Color: Provided
  • Tele :Phillips
  • Vents: NA
  • IV Team: No
  • RT 24/7: Yes
  • Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
  • Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 6-630, M-F
  • Call: 8-12 days a month depending on the month
  • Floor specific orientation: 2days on job
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Interventional, EP lab, peripherals, EP - cardiology and vascular, mitro clip, TAVR, IABP and Emtala placement

  • 30 minute response time
  • Use Phillips and Siemens equipment
  • 12 hour days plus call
