We have a unique opportunity for two enthusiastic Family Medicine or Internal Medicine NP/PA's to join our team based in Whittier, CA. The successful candidates will be flexible to float between other locations, as needed.
Job Summary
The Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will function in an Advanced Practice role as a clinical expert in the office setting. Under the general direction of the medical director, this individual will provide general and preventative care, conduct check-ups, treat illnesses, order labs, and prescribe medications for children and adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including health education, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses for adults and children.
- Collaborate with physicians for follow-up care or referrals.
- Demonstrate expertise in Family Medicine and knowledge of all aspects of the NP/PA scope of practice.
- Develop and implement effective disease management plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
- Current California Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license.
- Graduate from an accredited NP/PA Master's Program.
- New graduates will be considered.
- Evidence of continuing education and self-development to support license requirements.
- Board Certification: Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.
