Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Nashville, TN. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and improving warehouse processes, ensuring a safe and clean working environment, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement warehouse operational processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Manage and inspect warehouse facilities and grounds to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate prices and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Utilize software and computer systems to manage inventory and automate paperwork, including Excel, Email, and Internet skills
  • Initiate freight claims and resolve any issues related to shipping and receiving
  • Lead and maintain a high focus on safety, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure accurate Bill of Materials and obtain necessary signatures
  • Participate in and oversee proper material handling, ordering, and maintaining stock and shipping and receiving responsibilities
  • Schedule and oversee delivery drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials
  • Ensure staging is completed efficiently to meet customer demands
  • Contribute to the company's trash and recycling programs
  • Improve individual performance through daily coaching and yearly performance reviews
  • Hire, train, and develop new employees as necessary
  • Develop and lead effective monthly meetings to communicate with employees and address any concerns
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or 3-5 years of management experience in a fast-paced warehouse organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to navigate computer systems
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a good mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and represent the company in a professional manner
  • Ability to utilize technical applications and mechanical systems
  • Experience in conducting department meetings with hourly employees
