About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician at Community First Credit Union, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and grounds. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our members and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, vehicles, equipment, and grounds to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Assist in monitoring building system operations and performance, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing.
  • Provide lawn, tree, shrub, and flowerbed care at our branches as seasonally required.
  • Remove snow and ice from sidewalks and entranceways, and apply ice melt as needed.
  • Inspect building systems to ensure they are operating within design capabilities and providing appropriate environmental conditions.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of building and installed systems, including plumbing, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC.
  • Perform assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency, and preventative maintenance, and complete maintenance and repair records as required.
  • Maintain the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements, and perform carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks as needed.
  • Provide support and assistance with events, including equipment setup and teardown, and organization and proper placement of supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, including lawn mowers, weed eaters, hand tools, and company vehicles.
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Five years of related experience and/or trade school training
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Valid Driver's License is required
