About the Job

Ruston Paving Co, Inc. is seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting heavy equipment and materials to and from our job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport heavy equipment and materials
  • Perform daily truck equipment inspections to ensure safety and compliance with FMCSA guidelines
  • Complete written daily inspection reports and submit requests for maintenance as needed
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
  • Operate truck safely to and from project destinations
  • Maintain contact with dispatch center for instructions
Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or CDL A Restricted)
  • USDOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
  • Minimum 2 years of experience transporting heavy construction equipment and/or materials
