Restaurant General Manager Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at OULA Restaurant & Bar in Carteret, NJ. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our daily operations, managing our staff, and driving business growth through effective marketing strategies and exceptional customer service.

This leadership position requires a proven track record of success in restaurant management, with strong leadership and communication skills, excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities, knowledge of food and safety regulations, and the ability to manage budgets and financial plans.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure seamless execution of services
• Lead and develop high-performing teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to drive sales growth
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
• Monitor and control expenses to achieve budget targets

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record of success in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing employee engagement
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Knowledge of food and safety regulations, with the ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
• Ability to manage budgets and financial plans, with a focus on achieving profitability and growth

Salary Range:

• $62,000 - $82,000 per year, depending on experience
