POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Senior Node.js Developer, you will play a crucial role in crafting, programming, and implementing IT solutions utilizing NodeJS, Redux, and D3 to enhance Customer Experience applications.

Your responsibilities will include creating comprehensive system specifications, engaging in unit testing, and maintaining both planned and unplanned applications developed internally. You will also evaluate and conduct performance testing of purchased software products.

In this role, you will ensure the integration of IT Controls to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of applications and the data they process. You will lead initiatives, supervise project outcomes, provide mentorship, and serve as a technical resource for fellow developers.



CORE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience with unit testing, release management, coding design, documentation standards, and change management processes.
  • Expertise in MERN and MEAN scaffolding tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable team player.
  • Ability to independently manage tasks and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Willingness to learn from feedback and improve performance.
  • Demonstrated initiative and effective decision-making capabilities.

  • Deep understanding of the systems development life cycle.
  • Proficiency in multiple object-oriented programming languages, including React.

Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is essential, along with proficiency in local storage and cross-browser compatibility.



  • Experience with modern web/UI development tools and methodologies: Node, Webpack, Grunt/Gulp, GIT, Axios, Jest.
  • Client-side templating experience.
  • Proficiency in standard desktop applications such as MS Office and flowcharting tools like Visio.
  • Familiarity with debugging tools such as Advanced Debugger, Allinea DDT, AQtime, ARM, CA/EZTEST, etc.
  • Solid understanding of DOM manipulation and client-side validation.
  • Strong knowledge of jQuery and other JavaScript libraries.
  • High-level critical thinking skills to assess alternatives and propose solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience with responsive grid systems.
  • Solid grasp of React and Redux principles and their implementation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The following qualifications are preferred and reflect desired knowledge, skills, and experience.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in various domains such as Healthcare, Finance, etc.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Experience in mobile design (native and mobile web) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Foundation framework is a plus.
  • Understanding of web accessibility guidelines and requirements is a plus.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
5-8 years of professional experience in IT development, programming, or coding.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field or equivalent professional experience.
Relevant development certifications are also required.
