Job Overview

Tellworks Logistics is seeking a skilled Inventory Control Team Member to join our Warehouse Distribution Center (WDC) team.


This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes. The successful candidate will report to the Inventory Control Manager and be responsible for executing various inventory activities, including cycle counts, physical inventory, and process audits within the WDC.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cycle counts as directed, including participation in the annual physical inventory process.
  • Ensure accuracy in inventory counts and report findings to the Inventory Control Manager.
  • Perform inventory and process audits as assigned to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Follow all Inventory Control processes, rules, and best practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Inventory Control Manager.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a distribution center environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to move about the warehouse to access product, machinery, and assist others.
  • Must be able to move and place cartons on pallets weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend downward using legs at knee.
  • Must be able to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, and exchange accurate information.

Non-Physical Demands:
  • Must be reliable and dedicated to good attendance.
  • Must be available to occasionally work overtime, as required.
  • Must be adaptable to changing work tasks and workload.
  • Must be dedicated to working safely.
  • Must be dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service.

The estimated salary range for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on location and experience.
