Environmental Compliance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform environmental evaluations and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Establish and oversee environmental compliance initiatives, guaranteeing adherence to local, state, and federal laws.
• Evaluate and verify ecological metrics to monitor air quality, water purity, and other environmental parameters.
• Design and sustain environmental management frameworks to promote sustainable practices within the company.
• Offer technical advice on environmental matters to project teams and stakeholders.
• Compile comprehensive reports and documentation regarding environmental assessments and compliance status.
• Remain informed about the latest environmental regulations and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Additional certifications or licenses are highly advantageous, such as HAZWOPER, Method 9, DOT, EMS Auditor, Asbestos, Water Treatment Operator, or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).
• In-depth knowledge of environmental air quality regulations and standards is preferred.
• Expertise in data analysis and validation techniques related to environmental monitoring is preferred.
• Familiarity with eco-regulatory compliance and sustainability governance frameworks is a plus.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting and work independently as required.
• Proactive approach to staying updated on environmental trends and regulatory developments.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Dedication to fostering sustainable practices and environmental responsibility.
