About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager, Move Programs to join our team at Northwest Center. As a key member of our Move Ambassador team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) services across the Amazon campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide day-to-day direction and leadership to the Move Ambassador team, ensuring that all procedures, processes, and policies are understood and followed.
  • Employee Development: Responsible for employee development through the development of individualized goals and the creation of training plans to ensure that employees achieve established goals.
  • Performance Management: Responsible for staff performance, including providing corrective employee conversations as necessary related to employee performance, and subsequent follow-up.
  • Recruitment and Termination: Responsible for the interviewing, hiring, and termination process, partnering with Human Resources as necessary.
  • Customer Experience: Act as liaison between Northwest Center, Amazon, and other vendors, ensuring continuity and ongoing improvement/development of relationships with various Amazon Teams.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 4-year customer service or administrative support experience, 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, and 2+ years' experience with project or program management, or business operations.
  • Skills: Commitment to Northwest Center's mission of inclusion, ability to successfully work in a diverse environment, and passion to foster an inclusive and diverse culture through initiatives, training & education, communications, and implementing optimizations based on high-level goals.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to frequently carry and lift a backpack containing a laptop and other supplies, up to 50 pounds.
  • Working Hours: Variable working hours, with availability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including arriving early, staying late on a moment's notice, and occasional evening and weekend shifts.
