Position Summary
The Human Resources Executive is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of human resources functions and initiatives concerning employment, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. This role is pivotal in formulating organizational strategies, conducting analyses, and making informed recommendations to achieve the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic partner and advisor to the leadership team.

  • Lead talent acquisition and retention strategies; create comprehensive recruitment plans to address current and future staffing needs.

  • Prepare and update the employee handbook in a timely manner.
  • Review and suggest improvements to organizational policies and practices.
  • Coordinate the administration of employee satisfaction surveys.
  • Partner with leadership to establish orientation and competency assessment processes.
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration.
  • Assist leadership with staff training and development initiatives.
  • Manage the HR team to maintain accurate department records and reports.
  • Participate in ongoing meetings, training sessions, and seminars.
  • Attend all relevant staff meetings and contribute to assigned projects and committees.

  • Accept assigned responsibilities in a collaborative manner and perform additional related duties as required.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in work hours.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of three (3) years of management-level experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
  • Professional certifications/designations are advantageous.
  • Current knowledge of California State and Federal employment laws and regulations is essential.

Skills and Competencies
  • Proven ability to inspire and cultivate a high-performance culture.
  • Experience in coaching employees and management through complex challenges while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Health plan experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have up-to-date immunizations before engaging in direct participant care.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, AP Payroll, and Outlook).
  • Familiarity with general office procedures, equipment, and filing systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Quick learner of departmental policies, procedures, goals, and services.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Capable of multitasking, working independently, and collaborating with staff at all levels.

Work Environment
The work environment and physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
