About the Role

Levin & Nalbandyan, LLP is seeking a skilled Lien Negotiator to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Lien Negotiator, you will play a critical role in maximizing client recoveries by effectively negotiating post-settlement liens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate a wide range of liens, including health insurance, hospital, private medical provider, and state and federal medical provider liens.
  • Review and analyze medical billing and lien documentation to identify discrepancies, errors, and opportunities for negotiation.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys, legal staff, and third-party providers to strategize and implement case-specific lien negotiation tactics.
  • Maintain accurate records of all lien negotiation activities, communications, and outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and providers, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional client service and transparent communication.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in lien negotiation or a related field, with a deep understanding of medical billing and lien resolution.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in complex documentation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and work both independently and as a member of a collaborative team.
