We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated cardiothoracic surgeon to join our team at the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute. As a member of our academic medicine department, you will have the opportunity to practice advanced medicine in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care in the area of cardiothoracic surgery
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
- Contribute to the development of new medical knowledge and techniques
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- Eligibility for state medical license
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited general surgery residency program and cardiothoracic surgery fellowship program
- Board eligibility/certification in cardiothoracic surgery
