Position Overview
The Events and Sponsorship Coordinator plays a vital role within the MHQ team, executing the vision set forth by clients and executive directors. This position collaborates closely with both the CEO and client teams to provide exceptional marketing communication services.
Key Responsibilities
Event Coordination and Support (50%)
- Assist the Events Manager and Executive Directors in the planning and execution of client and MHQ events.
- Manage monthly webinars and support annual in-person conferences for multiple clients.
- Conduct vendor research and provide recommendations to clients.
- Develop content for event materials and collaborate with graphic designers for production.
- Oversee event logistics, including registration inquiries and on-site management duties.
Sponsorship Coordination and Support (50%)
- Understand client sponsorship offerings and maintain outreach plans.
- Build and nurture relationships with sponsors, ensuring effective communication.
- Implement and track sponsorship benefits, ensuring fulfillment of commitments.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in event planning and sponsorship within a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Experience with Association Management Systems is preferred.
