EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Industrial Electrician Certification or similar educational background and work experience is necessary.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in industrial maintenance is essential.
  • Proficiency in PLC ladder logic and Allen Bradley micro logic/control logic systems is required. Basic skills in welding and machining are also necessary.
  • The role demands the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, inspect, and repair plant machinery and systems.
  • A solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is required. Candidates must obtain a forklift license and successfully pass a physical examination.

  • Execute daily assignments as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Assist departments with maintenance requirements or support.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and Quality teams regarding fixtures and gauges utilized in product assembly.
  • Adhere to Quality, Environmental, and Material Management System standards.
  • Exhibit a proactive attitude towards safety, adhere to all company policies, and report unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Timely reporting of accidents and injuries is required.
  • Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations in accordance with company standards.
  • Conduct daily inspections and maintain reports on relevant equipment.
  • Keep documentation for maintenance equipment and systems up to date.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
AUTHORITY:
  • Accountable for the upkeep of the manufacturing facility, including all machinery, tools, and equipment necessary for daily operations.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in person and over the phone is essential.
BEHAVIORAL STANDARDS:
Foster a positive work environment by interacting and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, colleagues, and management. WORK HOURS:
  • B Shift - Tuesday to Friday 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM (Overtime may be available)
  • C Shift - Friday & Saturday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Sunday & Monday 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM (Overtime may be available)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The individual must be able to engage with all departments. While performing the duties of this role, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, crouch, manipulate tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, and communicate verbally. The position may occasionally require lifting or moving heavy equipment. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
