Job Summary:

The Assistant Principal will provide leadership and support to the school community, working closely with the principal and other staff members to ensure the success of students and the school as a whole. This is a full-time, 12-month position that requires a strong educational background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the principal in the general administration of the school and serve as principal when the principal is absent.
  • Supervise and improve classroom instruction, working with teachers to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to increase student achievement and improve school climate.
  • Develop and implement multi-tiered systems of support to meet the needs of all students.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Coordinate parent and community communications, serving as a liaison between the school and the community.
  • Develop and implement effective approaches to address and support the building's needs.

Requirements:
  • Professional Educators License with General Administrative Endorsements.
  • Superior communication and leadership skills required.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of multi-tiered systems of support.
