We are seeking a highly skilled Billing Clerk to join our team at the Lum Family of Dealerships in Walla Walla, Washington. As a key member of our accounting office, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper completion of related documentation and routing vehicle transactions.
Responsibilities:- Receive, process, and post sales documents from the F&I department.
- Report new vehicle sales to the manufacturer(s).
- Examine sales/car transaction contracts to assure conformity to specified requirements and reconcile office records with those of the sales department.
- Post sales transactions to accounting records such as worksheets, ledgers, and computer files.
- Process extended service contracts or cancellation and submit billing.
- Ensure name and address files are updated on an ongoing basis.
- Reconcile monthly schedules.
- Manage vehicle sales receivables and inventory control of all dealership vehicles.
- Prepare a daily report of contracts, vehicle receivables due, and proceeds.
- Account for all deal records and compile a list of any missing transactions.
- Ensure documents are scanned into the storage system.
- Keep abreast of factory sales programs and ensure proper credits to accounts are made.
- Assist with backup phone calls and rental desk when needed.
- Compile reports as requested.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
