Automotive Billing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Billing Clerk to join our team at the Lum Family of Dealerships in Walla Walla, Washington. As a key member of our accounting office, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper completion of related documentation and routing vehicle transactions.

• Receive, process, and post sales documents from the F&I department.
• Report new vehicle sales to the manufacturer(s).
• Examine sales/car transaction contracts to assure conformity to specified requirements and reconcile office records with those of the sales department.
• Post sales transactions to accounting records such as worksheets, ledgers, and computer files.
• Process extended service contracts or cancellation and submit billing.
• Ensure name and address files are updated on an ongoing basis.
• Reconcile monthly schedules.
• Manage vehicle sales receivables and inventory control of all dealership vehicles.
• Prepare a daily report of contracts, vehicle receivables due, and proceeds.
• Account for all deal records and compile a list of any missing transactions.
• Ensure documents are scanned into the storage system.
• Keep abreast of factory sales programs and ensure proper credits to accounts are made.
• Assist with backup phone calls and rental desk when needed.
• Compile reports as requested.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
