Position Overview:

Core Duties:
The BCBA is responsible for:

  • Clinical Practice:
    Conducting assessments, supervising, and evaluating learners through various Functional Behavior Assessments.
  • Creating and overseeing individualized goals and objectives for diverse program settings including center-based, community, in-home, and telehealth.
  • Developing tailored behavior intervention plans, ensuring their implementation, and providing necessary feedback.
  • Delivering direct behavior analytic therapy as required.
  • Facilitating parent training sessions as clinically appropriate.


Supervision:
Engaging in opportunities to educate staff and learners in natural settings and training others to replicate these methods.

Participating in meetings with parents, treatment teams, stakeholders, and other relevant gatherings as necessary.

Assisting with initial and ongoing training efforts, focusing on retention and support for behavior technicians.

Fostering staff development through performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and both formal and informal training in accordance with organizational guidelines.


Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Master's degree in a field related to Behavior Analysis (preferably in Applied Behavior Analysis)
  • BCBA Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Current State of Michigan Behavior Analyst Licensure
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a BCaBA or under BCBA supervision during training hours
  • At least 2 years of experience working with youth diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder


Preferred Licenses & Certifications:
Behavior Analyst License, Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification.
