Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at IntelyCare in Lewistown, PA.

About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to residents in Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), and other post-acute settings.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as mobility, personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Monitor residents throughout the shift and alert the broader nursing team to any concerns
  • Check temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs, and report any abnormal events to supervising staff
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by changing linens and helping to clean residents' rooms, etc.
  • Offer companionship and a compassionate, engaged ear to residents and their loved ones
  • Communicate effectively with visitors, family members, and staff
  • Follow and adhere to resident care plans
Requirements
  • Current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Understanding of nursing care procedures and related medical terminology
  • Effective organization skills and the ability to communicate with medical professionals, residents, and family members
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • A high level of attention to detail
