About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team at Trane Technologies. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and maintenance to our customers in a defined market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in a commercial environment
  • Utilize knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts to perform tasks
  • Work with internal and external partners to deliver new facility set ups and existing facility retrofits
  • Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand requirements and synchronize on-site work
  • Represent the company as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, and typically 5+ years of experience in HVAC
  • Technical School or formal training preferred
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld computer
  • Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations
  • EPA Certification
Working Conditions

This role is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders. Employees must be able to safely and legally operate a vehicle using a seat belt, wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness, and safety boots to perform job duties.

This position may be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, risk of electrical shock, noisy operating equipment, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.
