Sodexo is seeking a full-time Inpatient Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood in Kingwood, Texas. This 455-bed acute care facility offers a Level II trauma certification, rehab unit, and Level III NICU.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct nutrition assessments and provide diet education to patients
  • Educate patients, family members, and facility staff on nutrition and diet modification
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team conferences and collaborate with the team
  • Perform quality improvement initiatives, such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays
  • Assist with Food Service Management as needed

Requirements

  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
