Position: Cardiothoracic Surgical Physician Assistant
Location: Fort Worth, TEXAS
Texas Health Physicians Group is excited to present a full-time opportunity for a Cardiothoracic Surgical Physician Assistant. This role offers the chance to collaborate with a team of highly trained physicians utilizing cutting-edge technology and innovative surgical techniques for patients facing conditions related to the chest, heart, lungs, esophagus, and major blood vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week
- Assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
- Conduct outpatient visits and perform hospital rounds
- Evaluate new consultations in both clinic and hospital settings
- Support vein and radial harvesting, CABG, and valve surgeries
- Receive a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package, including CME, malpractice coverage, and 401K options
Qualifications Required:
- Active license to practice in Texas
- Board Certification as a Physician Assistant with relevant experience
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program
- Preferred surgical experience with 1-2 years in hospital and ambulatory settings
- Experience with robotic surgery is an advantage
