Job Overview
Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to work in a fast-paced environment at two hospitals located in Marathon and Tavernier, FL. This role offers competitive pay and the opportunity to collaborate with a skilled medical team.

Estimated Salary: $210/hr + $5/hr (based on 12 shifts/month)

Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide immediate and comprehensive medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries in the emergency department.
Clinical Assessment: Perform detailed patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests.
Treatment Plans: Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications, performing procedures, and initiating referrals as necessary.
Crisis Management: Respond to medical emergencies, stabilize critical patients, and coordinate with specialists or other medical staff for advanced care.

Requirements:
A MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with emergency department experience.
Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Georgia.
DEA certification and controlled substance registration.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an emergency department.
Proficiency in performing emergency procedures, including intubation, central line placement, and trauma management.
Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication skills for patient and team interactions.
Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
