We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Physician to join our team at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health.
Job Summary:This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patients' medical histories, lifestyles, and personal preferences.
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellent patient care.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or a related specialty.
- Current medical licensure in Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure.
- At least 3 years of experience in family medicine or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
