Cryomech, a pioneer in cryocoolers and cryogenic systems since 1963, continues to represent our product lines in the high-tech manufacturing sector.

Position Overview

This internship operates on a schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (flexible). The role involves providing solutions in controls, creating electrical design packages, and developing software in alignment with established specifications and design standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist engineers in addressing electrical inquiries related to manufacturing, sales, service, purchasing, engineering, and R&D for Cryomech products.
  • Support engineers in the design, troubleshooting, and testing of new control circuits.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of new vendor components.
  • Draft work instructions pertinent to electrical controls.
  • Ensure compliance with RoHS standards.
  • Facilitate training for new and existing staff on electrical equipment.
  • Serve as a backup contact for power and electrical systems.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Educational Background:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a preference for candidates with at least one year of experience in software development. Practical experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting is advantageous. Familiarity with regulatory standards such as IEC, UL, NEC, and CE is preferred.
