- Manage laboratory supplies and equipment to ensure that they are adequate and functioning properly.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that laboratory operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
- Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure that laboratory tests and procedures are accurate and reliable.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure that laboratory operations are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure that laboratory operations are in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that laboratory operations are conducted in a manner that is compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in a laboratory science field.
- Experience
- 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Licensure
- Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license.
The Clinical Laboratory Manager will work in a fast-paced laboratory environment and will be required to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. The position will also require moderate exposure to hazardous waste and chemicals.
