You will also be responsible for educating current and potential members on the benefits of regular exercise and fitness. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining the profitability of the company through new member sales and retention
  • Meet daily and weekly minimum requirements on sales quotas
  • Meet prospecting requirements and sales goals
  • Ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely manner
  • Attend and participate in scheduled sales meetings
  • Attend all staff and club meetings and events
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive, goal-driven environment
  • Work closely with retention departments to ensure high participation in the facilities
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with staff
  • Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations
Expectations
  • Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing Genesis Health Clubs
  • Provide input in developing strategies to support goals and objectives
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints
Job Requirements
  • Available to work weekends and evenings and holidays
  • Must hold current CPR certification or obtain within 60 days of start date
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Experience in cash handling and credit cards
  • Customer service abilities
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to communicate with guests and other associates, including reading, writing and speaking
