IT Hardware Deployment Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an IT Hardware Deployment Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment of hardware and software systems for our clients.

About the Role:

The IT Hardware Deployment Specialist will be responsible for inventorying, assessing, deploying, and installing hardware and software systems. This includes imaging, deploying, and installing devices, updating databases, and unboxing equipment. You will also be responsible for testing workstations and peripheral devices, executing test scripts, and ensuring printing queues are created and printers are mapped to the correct workstations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory and Assessment: Conduct thorough inventories of hardware and peripherals, collect data, and input into database systems, following assessment checklists and validating information
2. Deployment: Image, deploy, and install devices on daily pick lists, update Quickbase with activities performed each day, and dispose of packaging materials
3. Technical Dress Rehearsal: Test workstations and peripheral devices, execute Epic test scripts, create printing queues, and map printers to workstations
4. Go-Live Support: Deploy, test, configure last-minute devices prior to Epic software cut-over, and provide on-demand support post-Go-Live

Additional Requirements:

• Reliable Transportation:** Possess reliable transportation for travel between locations

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and location.
