About the Role

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs, a leading provider of special education services, is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapy services to students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student care.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and successful therapy experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in occupational therapy to ensure the highest quality of care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in occupational therapy or a related field.
  • Current state licensure as an occupational therapist.
  • Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
