Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Danbury, Connecticut. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in supporting students with speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on improving their communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and develop effective communication strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals that support students' communication needs.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Connecticut.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
