Position Summary:
The Sanitation Worker will be responsible for executing comprehensive sanitation services within large-scale food production plants. This role involves ensuring that all areas, including production lines, silos, and other facility spaces, are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning of production lines and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness in shipping areas and other critical zones.
- Conduct general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) during sanitation processes.
- Follow all safety protocols and facility policies diligently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food plant sanitation or a related field is advantageous, particularly in the bakery sector.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends and nights, is essential.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical capability to lift up to 20 lbs. and perform tasks requiring bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
