Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Join our team as a Radiologic Technologist and play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in various healthcare settings.

About the Role:

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment. You will also be required to transmit the images to a Radiologist for interpretation. Additionally, you may be asked to perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
  • Transmit images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
  • Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents on a daily basis.
  • Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
  • Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment.

The Radiologic Technologist may push/pull anywhere from lbs. With the use of vehicle ramps and pulleys, this weight decreases. When the tech is pushing/pulling the equipment in a facility or home; however, the weight can increase. 50 lbs of force (or more) can occur 16 to 24 times a day.

Requirements:
  • ARRT Certification
  • Valid driver's license in the applicable state and in good current standing at all times.
  • Vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for all individuals. Alternatively, those seeking an exemption must submit proper documentation supporting their request.
