Position Overview:
Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join a dedicated healthcare team. This role involves utilizing advanced radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images under the supervision of a radiologist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiographic machinery to capture precise images for diagnostic purposes.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures and ensure their comfort during examinations.
- Position patients accurately on the examination table and utilize immobilization devices to enhance image quality.
- Adjust equipment settings and exposure levels in accordance with established protocols to ensure optimal results.
- Implement radiation safety measures, including the use of protective devices and appropriate beam adjustments.
Additional Duties:
- Employ mobile imaging equipment in various clinical settings, including emergency and surgical environments.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) ARRT certification.
- Current BLS certification and Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) License required.
- An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 2-5 years of practical experience in radiology, including fluoroscopy procedures.
