Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Order Selector to join our team at Martin Brower. As an Order Selector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate selection of customer orders in our multi-temperature warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select customer orders accurately and efficiently, free of damage
  • Build orders according to assigned load tickets and ensure timely completion
  • Shrink wrap and label orders to ensure secure and organized transportation
  • Move completed orders to the loading dock or trailer, maintaining a safe and organized workspace
  • Operate powered industrial equipment, such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and walkie-rider, to efficiently move products throughout the warehouse
  • Accurately receive and process inbound products, replenish inventory as needed, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Participate in basic sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe environment, including clearing aisles of debris and stacking empty pallets
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to meet productivity requirements and ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must pass a post-offer background check and drug test
  • Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 170 lbs. when handling keg products
  • Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 6 months of related experience in high endurance or highly physical activity or role, such as lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, landscaping, etc.
  • Experience operating Material Handling Equipment in a multi-temperature environment, forklift certification a plus
  • Stocking, product handling, local delivery, or unloading experience
  • Foodservice distribution, grocery store, or beverage delivery experience
