Salary
$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description
This role is a mix of in-person and remote work, supporting several areas of leadership, managing governance-related schedules and functions, and developing strategies to recruit and retain volunteers. Key Responsibilities include:
  1. Monitoring and ensuring association activities comply with organizational bylaws, policies, mission, and vision.
  2. Providing guidance and support to internal leadership and related committees in governance, organizational procedures, and advocacy.
  3. Working with committees to revise association bylaws and policies.
  4. Coordinating board meetings and related standing committee meetings.
  5. Maintaining accurate records of board decisions, actions, and policies.
  6. Collaborating with government affairs committees to support advocacy strategies and initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in MS Office, and strong organizational and time management skills are essential for this role. A Bachelor's degree in an associated field or equivalent relevant experience is required. Strong communication and networking skills, as well as a commitment to upholding high ethical standards, are also necessary. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment is crucial. Other key skills include:
  • In-depth knowledge of nonprofit association governance structures and policies.
  • Experience with volunteer management and engagement strategies.
  • Ability to successfully work with multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts that arise.
