Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and uphold test process instructions (TPI) for production.
  • Educate production staff on testing methodologies.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
  • Prepare intricate test and diagnostic programs.
  • Write and maintain test scripts.
  • Configure high-end server systems.
  • Formulate comprehensive integration and testing strategies, along with scheduling test plans and scripts.
  • Design and develop test fixtures and equipment.
  • Draft specifications and procedures for new product lines.
  • May oversee parameter settings and testing of customer samples.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
  • Install hardware into racks and manage cable labeling and routing.
  • Construct systems according to design specifications, including application and operating system installation.
  • Evaluate test equipment and capacity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including work on complex issues requiring analytical evaluation and interaction with leadership across various functional areas.
  • Capability to implement strategic policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, including identification, maintenance, and calibration.
  • Experience in a start-up or change management environment within the manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with implementing a Quality Management System (e.g., ISO 9001) is preferred.
  • Ability to operate in both a standard office environment and a manufacturing setting, which may involve variable temperatures and noise levels.
  • Willingness to adapt to business needs, which may include extended hours, occasional evenings and weekends, and travel for business meetings or training.
