We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician (Neurology) to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and management of neurological disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all areas of clinical neurology, including consultative neurology in acute care, critical care, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and mental health units.
- Perform neurophysiologic procedures, such as NCS/EMG, EEG, and polysomnograms, and produce timely reports.
- Deliver quality care to a culturally diverse veteran patient population and manage acute and chronic illnesses in outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and adhere to infection control standards.
- Participate in educational and research activities to stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or be able to obtain citizenship.
- Must have a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Must be fully licensed to practice medicine in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Must have completed a residency training program approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
- Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
- Experience in managing patients beyond their time in Neurology residency.
- Interest in General Neurology or Neurohospitalist Medicine.
- Fellowship in Sleep Medicine or Neurophysiology or Headache Medicine.
- Competitive salary and annual performance bonus.
- Regular salary increases.
- 50-55 days of paid time off per year.
- Traditional federal pension and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA.

- No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting.
