Concrete Forming Specialist

We are seeking skilled individuals to join our team at Industrial Trade Services as a Form Carpenter or Rod Buster. As a key member of our concrete construction team, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and dismantling wooden and metal forms for concrete structures.

• Form Carpenters:
  • Construct and assemble wooden and metal forms for concrete structures.
  • Measure and cut materials to precise specifications.
  • Ensure forms are properly aligned and braced.
  • Assist with pouring and finishing concrete.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Rod Busters:
  • Fabricate, place, and tie reinforcing steel (rebar) according to blueprints and project specifications.
  • Work with hand and power tools to cut and shape rebar.
  • Install and secure rebar to ensure structural integrity.
  • Collaborate with the form carpenters and concrete finishers to achieve project goals.

• Previous experience in concrete forming and finishing (for Form Carpenters) or rebar installation (for Rod Busters) is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in concrete work.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to the job site.
