About the Job

GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to lead our team in the Las Colinas Association. As a key member of our security services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of security services and leading a team of officers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead officer overseeing 5-10 officers providing patrol and dispatch services for the Las Colinas Association.
  • Responsible for security service delivery and leadership of the officers assigned to your shift.
  • Previous supervisor experience in a related field required; prior military, police preferred.
  • Oversees constant vehicle patrols and will operate the company vehicle to oversee guard services. Carefully screen for safe driving.
  • Will oversee a very large area and will need to have familiarization with geography and neighborhoods. A good sense of direction and map familiarization are ideal.
  • Will receive detailed training on the job duties (1-2 weeks).
Requirements:
  • MUST have a valid DL and pass MVR.
  • You have a high school education or equivalent (GED).
  • You're able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process.
  • Dispatch, Military, Law Enforcement experience preferred.
  • You have a state license if required.
  • Must be effective at coaching and teaching officers and holding personnel accountable to GardaWorld and client standards.
  • Must have previous experience issuing corrective action.
  • Effective communication skills (email, phone, in person). Ability to de-escalate situations with residents and customers while meeting overall security requirements.
