Join our team as a Bus Driver and contribute to the safe transportation of students.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Bus Driver to transport students to and from school. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to student safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safe transportation of students to and from school.
  • Monitor and enforce student discipline in accordance with district policy.
  • Report any concerns regarding students to the principal or transportation personnel.
  • Assist in evacuation of students in emergency situations.
  • Communicate with parents as needed.
Requirements:
  • Ability to positively work with children.
  • Must be familiar with guidelines for the safe transportation of students.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member with staff and parents.
  • Ability to understand and follow data privacy rules and regulations related to students.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
  • Physically capable of meeting all performance responsibilities required with students, including frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and/or up to adult-size body weight with two to three person lift.
