Job Summary

KurzSolutions is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and promote a culture of safety and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Observe and assess patient clinical condition, recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations and taking appropriate action.
  • Formulate a nursing diagnosis and develop a plan of care for individual patients.
  • Initiate appropriate measures in emergency situations when physicians are not immediately available.
  • Administer therapeutic measures and medications as prescribed by the physician.
  • Record observations and nursing interventions, as well as therapeutic measures administered and the status of coordinated activities between nursing and other professional disciplines.
Requirements
  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
  • A current, valid, unrestricted nursing license within the Continental United States.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience required, although 4 years is preferred, of full-time Med/Surg or Ambulatory Care/Clinic specific experience that has occurred within the past 24 months with a minimum of those years occurring at a tertiary level facility.
  • BLs and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association. PALS Basic Dysrhythmia is preferred.
  • Will be required to float to ED as needed, therefore previous ED experience is preferred.
  • Will need documentation of receiving a TB skin test within the past 12 months with documentation of a follow-up for a positive test.
