MRI Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to join our team at Ohio State University Hospital. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures with a focus on various specialties.
Certification Requirements- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Valid Ohio State License
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in:
- Fusion (non-brain) imaging
- Gradient Echo Imaging
- Image post-processing techniques
- Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP)
- Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP)
- Perfusion and Spectroscopy
- Spin Echo Imaging
- Utilization of Surface Coils
- T-1 and T-2 Weighted Imaging
Experience in imaging the following regions is essential:
- Cervical
- Lumbar
- Thoracic
- Handle an average daily case load of 35-40 patients.
- Manage a diverse range of patient diagnoses, including neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Document procedures electronically using EPIC.
- Work with patients across various age groups: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics.
A minimum of 2 years experience in the field is required, with skills in:
- Adult ICU and Outpatient settings
- Pediatric Acute Care
Familiarity with:
- PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
- Siemens imaging equipment
This position involves:
- Shifts from Friday to Sunday, 7 AM to 7 PM.
- 3x12 hour weekend shifts.
It is important to check the UD/Unit Cost Center Link for specific certification requirements. Travelers will have the opportunity to renew ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications at the facility. Please consult with the Lead CL for further instructions.
