At the University of California, we are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement standardized procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Document patient care and services rendered
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner
- Current, valid California Nurse Practitioner License and California RN License
- State of California NP, National Board Certification
- At least 2 years of experience in managing outpatient medical problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills
- Working knowledge of other health, mental health, and social services agencies in the area
- Ability to utilize Excel, Word, and other software programs
