High-Paying Pipefitter Position in Port Arthur, Texas

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at Primoris Industrial & Civil in Port Arthur, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to work on industrial construction projects and contribute to the success of our company.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position ranges from $33 to $40 per hour, with a schedule of 5 days a week and 10 hours each day. Additionally, there's potential for overtime pay as the project progresses.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping and piping systems, pipe supports, fixtures, and equipment for various industrial processes. Your tasks will include selecting the appropriate materials and equipment, inspecting work sites, planning installation sequences, cutting, threading, and bending pipes, mounting pipe hangers and brackets, assembling and installing pipes and fittings, and joining pipes using different methods.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A minimum of one to four years of experience in Pipefitting is required.
- You must be able to pass a physical examination and background check.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and equipment is essential.
- You should be able to climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairways, and work in confined spaces.
- Able to carry tools and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
You will be working in an industrial construction jobsite environment with varying climate conditions, including extreme temperatures, humidity, and noise levels. You may be exposed to chemicals and other hazardous substances.
