Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Language Improvement Professional to join our team at East Hartford Public Schools. The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and families to support language development and improve academic outcomes.

About the Position

The Speech Therapist and Teacher will be responsible for providing diagnostic, habilitative, instructional, and consultative services to students with communicative needs and disorders. This includes serving on multi-disciplinary teams, providing therapeutic programs, and collaborating with general and special education teachers.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic, habilitative, instructional, and consultative services to students with communicative needs and disorders.
  • Collaborate with staff and families to determine the need for augmentative communication systems and assessment.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address identified needs.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
