Job Responsibilities

As an MRI Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging services to patients. Your duties will include:

  • Exhibiting a thorough understanding of MRI technology and ensuring optimal image quality.
  • Preparing and administering contrast materials as needed for procedures.
  • Positioning patients safely and comfortably while maintaining their dignity.
  • Documenting clinical information accurately and ensuring informed consent is obtained.
  • Maintaining effective communication with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of MRI equipment.
  • Participating in on-call duties to ensure continuous patient care.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • 1-3 years of experience in MRI technology.
  • Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and MRI.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

This position requires compliance with COVID-19 vaccination protocols as mandated by local regulations.
