Nursing Professional for Developmental Disabilities

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Professional to join our team at ServiceNet. As a Registered Nurse, you will work with our developmentally disabled and brain injured clients in their residential programs. Your primary responsibility will be to advocate and institute the appropriate nursing interventions for all medical needs of assigned program participants, focusing on optimal health for all individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and coordinate healthcare services for participants, communicating all medical issues to physicians, nurse practitioners, and other medical licensed providers, Area Director, Nursing RN Supervisor, and Health Care Director, and any other appropriate DDS staff.
Document all nursing interventions and changes affecting the individual in appropriate areas, including daily logs, progress notes, staff communication logs, nurses' notes, and any other identified system for communication purposes.
Maintain current medication and treatment orders according to MAP standards, noting any side effects or adverse effects and reporting to appropriate personnel.
Assist in training staff in personal care, positioning, feeding, and the use of supportive devices.
Accompany patients to medical appointments and Day Programs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid MA Nursing License
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Physical ability to perform the requirements of the position
Good communication and computer skills
