Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator Assistant to join our McCoy's Building Supply team. As a Forklift Operator Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment by assisting with loading and unloading products, operating a forklift, and providing general store support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for performing routine safety checks on forklifts, adhering to company guidelines, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Salary: $16 per hour

Main Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading products into customers', vendors', and company vehicles safely and accurately.
  • Operating a forklift.
  • Assisting customers in the lumberyard.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.


Essential Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Forklift operator certification.
  • Successful completion of on-the-job training; completing levels 1 and 2 of the positional training offered.
